KnoholEM

KnoholEM is a combined researchproject co-funded by the European Commission in the context of the seventh Framework Program.

Energy efficiency in public building through intelligent energy management is an important key to decrease the emission of greenhouse gasses, in order to counteract against global warming. The most important goal of KnoholEM is the development of an intelligent energymanagement system, to decrease the use of energy in public buildings. This happens by on one hand the systematically avoidance of waiste of energy, and on the other hand by optimalising energy consumption through enviromental information.

The KnoholEM solutions is widely applicable to divergent public building is every EU country. The goal is to realise a energy reduction of 30% because of the application of the KnoholEM system.
