CommonWell
The European project CommonWell has started in October 2008 and lasted three years. The aim of the project was to integrate services in medical and elderly care with ICT-solutions, such as telemedicine and alarm systems. This mainly includes independent living focussed on elderly with chronical conditions. A pilotstudie with older people has been executed in four different places in Europe.
Smart Homes has coordinated the study in the Netherlands, in which about 100 elderly with chronic heart failure participated. We also coordinated the analysis of the registration and the creation of user's case in this field. The results are focused on a roll-out plan, with an unique integrated system of service, organisation and infrasctructure, which could be applied in multiple European countries.
