Policy-making support for independent living

The ActiveAdvice projects aims to create an European wide, advisory and policy-making supportive environment. This environment is based on a extensive ICT-network to show a wide range of new, available AAL services and technologies. These will be saved in an intelligent AAL Product & Service Cloud and offered on regional, national and international level. 

There are three important target groups: consumers, businesses and authorities. The first targetgroup of this environment are the end-users of AAL technologies and services, such as adults and their family members. The end-users, as primary targetgroup, could use the available Active Advice Applications to generate personal data. You could think about sharing own experiences, such as reviews, criticizing services or mobile services and to provide feedback on the content of the database itself via the website www.project.activeadvice.eu. In this way, users will become important digital AAL advisors and are part of the decision making supportive networks. Therefore, all services are aligned with the needs of the elderly and those disabled. Next to that, ActiveAdvice provides services for companies, to allow them to create individual AAL solutions, present and sell in such a way the needs of the elderly and their families are met. These services aim to support new companies, but also authorities, such as city governments who determine the policy and services in the field of healthcare. 

To ensure quality standard between professionals, a special traning is set up and offerend inside the ActiveAdvise project. Professionals from companies and authorities who participate in the training, will receive the title of Authorised Active Advorise with an appurtenant certificate of the network-membership that offers acces to the Intelligent AAL Product & Service Cloud. In contradiction to other courses that are available in the field of AAL, the ActiveAdvice training does not only include information about laws and regulations about specific AAL sectors, but also provides companies or authorities the possibility to effectively use the ActiveAdvice environment as Authorised Active Advisor
