New project VictoryaHome started | 03 April 2013
This week, Smart Homes has started a new AAL project, called VictoryaHome. The key advantage of the Victorya - a tele-presence robot for integrated care@home and peace of mind for carers, is that it does not depend wholly on automated functions, but augments them with immediate human presence when needed or desired by the older adult user.

Beyond Silos Forum online | 29 March 2013
The members of the project consortia of CommonWell (www.commonwell.eu) and INDEPENDENT(www.independent-project.eu) have recently launched an online exploitation forum called “Beyond Silos” to bring together stakeholders engaged in integrated eCare service provision or interested in becoming engaged because they share the view of the benefits that can be achieved.
